Guggemos is lead on a county-wide, collaborative oral history project funded by LSTA to preserve and catalog more than 900 oral histories collected by local museums, libraries and universities. These endangered assets record the unique memories of immigration, changing patterns of land use, economic transitions, war and politics. The project created a centralized online access site for oral history records in the county, building on the detailed plans, community partnerships and technical infrastructure that the Pacific University Archives has developed.
